Introduction

Welcome to Mithai Indian Café, a contemporary Indian dessert destination in the heart of Cary, NC.  Evoking a timeless tradition, we are the Carolinas' original Indian sweet manufacturer since 2004.  A significant number of our desserts are traditional Bengali sweets that use NO animal fat ('ghee') or oil and ONLY farm fresh whole milk, sourced from Homeland Creamery.  All our sweets are made in house at our cafe in Chatham Square.... NOT imported from New Jersey, New York, Chicago, Canada, or India.

In addition to our acclaimed mithai, our cafe serves hot vegan and vegetarian food, and snacks.  Our specialties include Bengali versions of samosas, vegetable cutlets, kachoris, chaats, bhel puri, as well as masala chai, gourmet coffee and lassi. 

We do large orders for all events: weddings, graduations, birthdays, any event you want to give a sweet Indian touch!
