COMMERCIALLY MADE VEGAN AND GLUTEN FREE INDIAN SWEETS ARE RARE.

It is rare due to the use of milk and ghee.

We have three vegan sweets -- the kaju katri, boondi laddu and motichoor laddu -The kaju katri (or cashew-nut marzipan)  is made with only two ingredients -- cashew and sugar. The reason why we can offer 12 different gluten free sweets is because we do not add white flour to the milk to add volume.

If you’re wondering why there is no traditional silver foil, that is because of the possibility of aluminum being mixed with silver (which is getting more expensive nowadays). Silver has to be 99.9% pure to be of food consumption standard.

Several Indian dessert makers also use egg white to brush onto the top of sweets to give an attractive shine. We do not have eggs for any purpose on our premises.
